Privacy Policy
Drew's Detailing Services ("we", "us", "our") is a one-person mobile auto detailing business based in Salado, Texas. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, who it goes to, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers this website only — not anything you send us on Instagram or Facebook, which those platforms also collect under their own policies.
1. What we collect

What is collected automatically
Our own measurement records page views, which buttons are used, and how far down the page people scroll — along with the page address and the referring site. Each visit gets a random identifier stored in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. It is not a cookie, it does not follow you to other websites, and it is not tied to your name.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers, and we set no advertising cookies. If we ever add one, this policy will change before it goes live.
2. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, quote the work, and schedule it.
- To send you messages about your booking — confirmations, arrival times, changes.
- To take a deposit, if one is being charged for your booking.
- To ask for a review after work is completed, if you agreed to be contacted.
- To send occasional offers only if you ticked the optional marketing box.
- To understand which parts of this website are useful and fix the parts that aren't.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
3. Consent, and how to withdraw it
The booking form asks you to agree to two things before it will submit, and offers a third that is optional:
- Contact permission (required). That Drew may call and text you about your booking. Message and data rates may apply.
- Terms and this policy (required).
- Marketing (optional). Occasional offers and reminders. Leaving it unticked has no effect on your booking.
We record the exact wording you agreed to, along with the date, time, your IP address and browser. To withdraw any of it, reply STOP to a text, or call or text 505-796-2278. Withdrawing marketing consent does not stop messages about a booking you have already made; withdrawing contact permission means we can no longer service the booking and will cancel it.
4. Payments
If a deposit is taken online it is processed by Stripe on Stripe's own hosted payment page. Your card number never reaches this website and we never see or store it. We receive only the fact that a payment succeeded, the amount, and a reference. Stripe handles that data as its own controller under its privacy policy.
Payment in person is Cash App, Venmo, cash or check, handled directly between you and Drew through those services.
5. Who else sees your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. It reaches only:

6. Your rights
Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and residents of other states have similar rights under their own laws. Whichever state you live in, we will honour these:
- Ask what we hold about you and get a copy.
- Ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete it.
- Opt out of marketing at any time.
- Opt out of any sale or targeted advertising — though we do neither.
Text or call 505-796-2278. We aim to respond within 45 days. We may need to confirm who you are before releasing anything. If we refuse a request we will say why, and you may appeal by replying to that message; if an appeal is denied you may complain to the Texas Attorney General.
7. How long we keep it

Ask us to delete sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, the database sits behind access controls, and the admin area is password-protected. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we do not store card numbers, which removes the most sensitive category entirely.
9. Children
This service is for adults arranging work on their own vehicles. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date and version at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be notified to you directly where we have a way to reach you.
